Dual-Frequency Sub-Bottom Profiler
The EdgeTech 3400 Sub-Bottom Profiler is the latest generation of sub-bottom systems offering dual transmitters and novel planar receive arrays in a single tow body that can be pole mounted or towed behind a vessel. The system is dual frequency capable (alternating) and operates with Chirp (FM) frequencies ranging from 2-16 kHz. Deploying the towfish using a davit is highly recommended.
Our standard configuration comes with a towable sonar head, 50-meters of tow cable, topside interface box with laptop acquisition computer running EdgeTech’s Discover control software, USB drive with user manual, mini GPS receiver, and transit cases. Optional accessories include pole mount adapter, and 10-meter deck cable.
